Preconstruction Intelligence

AI-powered construction plan analysis

PBG Precon reads an entire drawing set the way an experienced preconstruction manager does — finding conflicts, measuring the work, defining the scope, pricing it and leveling the bids. Every conclusion is cited to the exact sheet and note it came from.

Six modules, one set

Upload the documents once. Each module works from the same indexed set, so review findings sharpen the scope, the scope sharpens the bid leveling, and nothing gets retyped.

Plan Review

Reads the full drawing and specification set and reports conflicts, omissions and coordination items, each cited to the sheet.

What a finding actually looks like

A representative product demonstration of Plan Review and the envelope checklist. Every real finding carries the sheet number and the verbatim printed text it came from, so you can open the drawing and check it yourself.

Missing-reference finding on a residential set: sheet A6.2 calls for detail 4/A8.9 at all window heads, and A8.9 was never issued. Caught before the drywall bid, not after.
The review runs against a checklist of named conditions — envelope, millwork, baths, coordination — and you can add your own rule in plain language.

Why preconstruction, and why now

Cost is decided early

Many costly overruns begin with drawing conflicts, scope gaps and unresolved assumptions that were never caught before bidding — a schedule that disagrees with a plan, a detail called out and never drawn, an allowance carried without a basis.

The knowledge does not scale

The people who catch those problems do it from experience. That review cannot be run on every set, on every bid date, by everyone on the team.

Evidence, not output

Findings, answers and scope items carry the sheet number and the verbatim text they came from, verified against the source — so they can be checked, not just believed.
